Dr. Dunn’s unique name was a central element in the brand development process on this project. Upon exploring many ideas that you can see in the sketches below—one design was selected as a clear front-runner. Among a sea of predicatble “eye” logos used for optometrists everywhere, Dr. Dunn’s logo now stands out and get their practice noticed. The use of the two X-shapes along with the subtle eye-treatment was a refreshing concept and the end result was a logo that was as unique as his name. The new logo was the cornerstone element that set the tone for his entire rebranding effort that included stationary, business cards, cards, a new website and more.
